I like good quality crisp photos for my desktop wallpaper/background, especially for larger HD monitor displays. Like the one desktop system here at Berntech we have a 22" LCD Widescreen. However it is difficult to find photos that are the right size for your display without distorted it and reducing the quality. Even photos from you digital camera won't always convert well because of the computer display sizes.
Well I found a website that has excellent, high quality beautiful photos for free for PC wallpaper/background and you can get the proper size for your monitor, its interfacelift.com. Just search through the website and find the ones you like and you can get the right size, by selecting it in the drop down menu. Both fullscreen and widescreen sizes are usually available for each photo...I just love this website.

17/19" CRT/LCD Fullscreen = 1280x1024
19" LCD Widescreen = 1440x900
22" LCD Widescreen = 1680x1050
