1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
16 GB available hard disk space (Windows 32-bit version) or 20 GB (Windows 64-bit version)
DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
*A laptop 6 years older or more might have hardware issues with Windows 7, however RAM and hard drives in some cases can be upgraded to meet requirements at additional cost.
Additional requirements to use certain features:
Internet access (not provided by BERNTECH, fees may apply)
Depending on resolution, video playback may require additional memory and advanced graphics hardware
For some Windows Media Center functionality a TV tuner and additional hardware may be required
Windows Touch and Tablet PCs require specific hardware
HomeGroup requires a network and PCs running Windows 7
DVD/CD authoring requires a compatible optical drive
Windows XP mode requires an additional 1 GB of RAM, an additional 15 GB of available hard disk space, and a processor capable of hardware virtualization with Intel VT or AMD-V turned on
Music and sound require audio output

Before you ship the PC, it must meet hardware requirements above. Please provide Brand, Model Number of the PC to be upgraded so we can determine if it is compatible for Windows 7 and you must Call 1-877-629-8417 or Email us: customerservice@berntech.com, put "Upgrade" in email subject line to be issued a service number.
We will get your name, shipping address, email address and what you are sending us. Give us your choice of the version of Windows 7, you will be assigned a service number to put on the shipping label. All PC shipments must have a service number assigned by us or it will be not be serviced.
You will not be charged until service on PC is completed, you will be notified by email. You will be invoiced by email and you may pay by credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover cards.
Once payment has cleared PC will be shipped or can be picked up, a email shipping notice will be sent with the UPS tracking number. We guarantee your satisfaction or you will be refunded full price.
*NOTE: Shipping to us is customers cost and not included in price, just the return of serviced PC shipping back to customer. Any hardware upgrades are not included in price and is extra cost.
